Review Of Beatthefish.com

Posted on 23 July 2008 by admin

Okey we are back with another poker site review. This time we take a closer look at the poker portal www.beatthefish.com. Our first impression was that this site was your regular poker review and bonus site, only designed to grab new poker players. We were wrong. Beatthefish.com delivers a massive amount of relevant poker information. We took a look at the poker strategy section and wow, that’s a lot of content! Over 90 quality poker articles and a number of poker book reviews and player profiles make sure the visitors stay glued to the site.

What is also really helpful is the different deposit related information. If you are a US player, beatthefish.com gives you an overview of US poker deposit methods and lists a lot of information regarding the different deposit methods such as eWalletXpress and ePassporte. Neat information for the UIGEA victim trying to find his or hers way around the different deposit road blocks online.

What we always do in these reviews is to check the google rankings of the site. Having a good position in google usually means your site is trusted and relevant to the visitors. It is also a good indicator that your site is not a shitty spam site. Beatthefish.com ranks on page to in google for the popular keyword online poker room reviews.

Job well done beatthefish!

Warning: Hellmuth Rant Coming

Posted on 19 July 2008 by admin

We write about this guy alot, but how could we really not do it when he never dissapoints. This time he is ranting in his blog. Main event is over and Hellmuth feels it is not fair how he went out in forty-fifth.

I feel like I deserve better than a forty fifth place finish at the 2008 WSOP main event. In six days I never faltered, I played one coin flip for over 50% of my chips, and I didn’t have any double up hands (my A-A vs. their K-K or Q-Q) for the last three days. I cannot say this about any other tournament that I have played in my life. The amateurs killed me when they called big pre-flop raises with Q-10 both times in heads up pots: once, I turned a set (J-9-6-8-2) and check called fourth street; the other time I made aces up with A-2 (J-9-2-8-A). I finally played a coin flip when I moved all-in for $405,000 (blinds were 20k-40k) with A-Q under the gun seven handed, and was called by J-J. It was my last hand.

Review Of PokerMarketingCode.Org

Posted on 10 July 2008 by admin

What we usually do on beyondthenuts.net is to report juicy poker gossip. Now, as most of you reading this blog are probably avid, bad, terrible or straight up good poker players, we feel we gotta review some of the thousands upon thousands of poker sites online. Pokerstars.com is the biggest poker site online and there is a huge number of sites trying to make money on that fact. One of those sites is PokerStars Marketing Code.

What do pokermarketingcode.org do?
When you sign up for a new account at stars, they will ask you for a marketing code. By entering a code, you will most likely get a better bonus than you would without a marketing code. When people see this field in the stars client and they have no marketing code what do they do? They search after a marketingcode for pokerstars in google or yahoo or whatever. That is what this site does the best. You simply find the marketing code and enter it in the field in the pokerstars client. Voila’! A $50 bonus and access to $17 000 worth of freerolls. Pretty sweet.

Wow, we did a search for the term pokerstars marketing code in google and we found this site in the sixth spot. Real impressive. When google aknowledges your site as quality, we can too! Check out this site for the best Pokerstars referral code
