In case someone didn’t catch the ESPN broadcast of the WSOP 50K Horse Event: Scotty Nguyen, the so-called “prince of poker”, made a real bad impression. There has probably never been an ESPN poker broadcast this censored as the f-word and other insults constantly was spewed out of Scotty’s mouth. Check the youtube clip below to catch the highlights of Scotty’s bad behavior:
Scotty’s rage was for the most part directed towards 23-year old DeMichele but also Erick Lindgren got tired and told DiMechele to “take him down” after he busted out. It wouldn’t go this way and Scotty Nguyen ended up taking down the event together with 2 million dollars and the Chip Reese Trophy.
Later, Scotty publicised an apology (scroll down to find it) in the cardplayer forums saying he was sorry for his bad behavior. “Where’s the f%cking coctails?”
The craziest guy in poker can’t seem to stay out of the poker gossip. Some poster at twoplustwo claimed Dutch Boyd bid $31K for a bunch of domains at sedo but was unable to pay.
Dutch Boyd said he had been in the mental hospital for the last two days and was literally crazy when he bid on the domains. Therefore he should not pay for the domains.
Twoplustwo user sublime posted a very interesting story about WSOP 2004 runner-up David Williams being slapped real hard twice (!) at this years WSOP and calling the security for help.
Apparently, Williams had acted like a real d-bag and the unknown slapper gave him what he deserved. This all happened at a club in Vegas.
David Williams is also known for starring in an infamous foot porn video.
